It’s Friday!!!! This calls for a list of my favorite makeup products.

I haven’t been part of the makeup game for a long time.  Of course I’d wear eye shadow, some eyeliner and mascara, but I really didn’t know much about how or what products to use without being a cake face.  Here are some of my favorite products I’ve discovered over the past couple years that are great to go from work –> weekend.

  1. Urban Decay Naked Palette

I had never heard of the NAKED palette until a previous coworker told me they would have loved to know about this product at my age.  It may seem a bit pricey, but once you add up the multiple palettes from the grocery store you’ll go through, this option is the best.  Make sure to use primer, add a couple swipes, and you’re done! It lasts all day (and if you fall asleep with makeup on, you’ll wake up with this still looking great).  I have now had my palette for 2 years and still haven’t ran out of a color. There are multiple color palettes to choose from to best suit your look.  You can also purchase the individual shadows to give a try first.

Urban Decay – $54.00

ULTA – $54.00

2. Revlon PhotoReady Concealer

I recently was looking online for a different product than the ordinary liquid concealer to cover the natural purple color under my eyes. This is amazing! Simply swipe under your eyes like lip stick, blend in and Wha lah!

ULTA – $10.99

Target – $6.19

3. Wet N’ Wild Picture Perfect Setting Spray

My friend has been using a great setting spray for awhile from Ulta.  I wanted to give it a try, but for less $$.  I’ve tried this product a few times on the weekend when going out and so far LOVE it. *if you have sensitive skin, be careful to make sure you use a product that will not irritate your skin.

Target – $4.99

ULTA – $4.99

4. CoverGirl BB Cream

This product reminds me a lot of Mary Kay’s liquid foundation.  BB cream is thinner so it will still give your skin the smooth look your wanting, without clogging your pores.

Target – $5.69

ULTA – $7.99

5. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner and L’oreal Voluminous Liquid Eyeliner

The days of regular eyeliner are gone for me.  I’m 100% for using liquid eyeliner after I’ve seen how well the color stays and looks throughout the day.  The felt tip liners help to give the perfect cat-eye look.  I love the Stila liquid eyeliner, but if you’re wanting something cheaper than $22 each time, I found that the L’Oréal products have lasted the same amount of time for half the price.  I’ve posted a few different links of my favorite L’Oréal liners below.

Stila:

ULTA – $22.00

L’Oréal:

Voluminous Superstar:

ULTA – $9.99

Liner Intense:

ULTA – $9.99

Target – $7.99

Voluminous Liner:

Target – $7.99

6. Stila Huge Lashes and L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise

Once again a Stila product I love.  The tube of mascara lasts a lot longer, and makes your lashes look UNBELIEVABLE. Even though it has a $23 price tag, you won’t be disappointed.  L’Oréal has a similar product, “Voluminous Lash Paradise”, that I have been very impressed with.  If cost wasn’t a factor, I would definitely go with Stila.

Stila:

ULTA – $23.00

L’Oréal:

ULTA – $9.99

Target – $7.99

7. Essence Nude Longlasting Lipstick

I found this gem at ULTA and have loved the color.  I loved Maybelline’s Nude Baby Lips, but once they stopped selling my shade I had to find another go-to –and this product was up to par.

ULTA – $1.49

8. NYX Eye Primer

This is my favorite eye shadow primer to use before applying the NAKED palette.  I tried cheaper brands like E.L.F., but I definitely noticed a difference.

ULTA – $6.99

Target – $4.19

9. Rimmel Natural Bronzer

Similar to regular highlighting powders, but helps you radiate a sun-glow.

Target – $4.29

10. Wet N’ Wild Highlighting Powder

I love the “Precious Petals” color.  It applies easily and looks great!

ULTA – $4.99

Target – $4.99

11. Maybelline Total Temptation Brow Definer

I’ve never used a brow pencil before since I was a little wary how the results would turn out.  I received a Total Temptation box for free from Influenster to try out Maybelline’s new products.  I absolutely loved this Brow Definer! The angled pencil glides on easily, and the “fluffy spoolie end” helps to blend it in.

ULTA – $7.99

Target – $6.99
